Raymond Noe is one of the foremost academic authorities in the area of training and development. His teaching and research in training and human resource management has been recognized by awards from the American Society for Training and Development. Noe is an author of three texts in human resource management, including Employee Training and Development, which includes a section on use of the technologies in training. He has published extensively in Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Personnel Psychology, and he serves on the editorial boards for Personnel Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Journal of Organizational Behavior. Noe was elected Fellow in The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and American Psychological Association. He has consulted with several companies on training and development issues, including Strategic Interactive and General Motors Assurance Corporation. Noe holds an MA and PhD from Michigan State University and a BS from The Ohio State University.
