She and Bruce Katz, the Institution’s Vice President, launched the program in 1996 to provide decision-makers with the latest trends analyses, policy ideas, and on-the-ground practices to help metropolitan areas, compete and prosper. Anil K. Makhija Academic Director, National Center for the Middle Market Senior Association Dean, Fisher College of Business Anil K. Makhija is the Academic Director of the NCMM and Senior Associate Dean at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. He holds the Dean’s Distinguished Professorship in Finance, where he has been on the faculty since 1999. Past positions include chairing Fisher’s Department of Finance, serving as an associate dean, and holding the David A. Rismiller Professorship in Finance. Makhija’s research and teaching interests in the field of corporate finance focus on issues relating to capital structure, corporate governance, and utilities.
