National Center for the Middle Market 2012 Annual Report

Doug Farren
by Doug Farren

The National Center for the Middle Market celebrated its one-year anniversary on Oct. 6, 2012.  In recognition of our accomplishments during 2012, we've published our first annual report detailing the impact of the center for the Middle Market.

Over the past year we focused on better understanding the middle market and increasing awareness for this important segment of the U.S. economy. Activites included 14 funded research projects, an executive education program and career fair dedicated solely to middle market companies, as well as other events and conferences.

A special thank you to Dun & Bradstreet, the U.S. Census Bureau, ACG, The Economist Intelligence Unit, Plante Moran, and the Greater Cleveland Partnership.

This is my first exposure to your Middle Market site. This is exciting. Is it more likr the S&P Mid Cap 400, S&P Small Cap 600, or some NFIB construct? Anyway, more likely to be a domestic, U.S. centric grouping rather than international, and much more dynamic. Is this the home of free enterprise & entrepreneurship? I would think so. Congratulations!
